Janet Edeling, IUA, has announced her retirement from umpiring on international and national level.
‘’This decision was reached after much deliberation, taking into account personal and business demands, and the desire to retire from umpiring at the top level. This is the right decision for me, taken at the right time, and may open new opportunities and a new season in life.
I would like to thank each and every individual ( mentors, co-umpires, players and coaches) that has been instrumental in my journey to becoming and fulfilling my dream of qualifying as an IUA. It has been a privilege to serve netball, NSA and the INF in this way.
I will always remain incredibly passionate about umpiring, as well as the development of umpires to higher levels.’’
NSA was privileged to have such a calibre umpire in SA and also representing SA on courts all over the world.
We appreciate your further involvement in the development of top umpires in SA.
